I honestly can't tell if I'm bad at guitar or not.

The obvious solution is to practice madly until you know you're good at it! It's not like practicing revolves around being motivated by the fact that you improve, after all. Seriously, though, it seems unlikely that you're bad, considering you do practice.

And in my own sads, introverts don't survive extrovert-oriented courses very well. Between Saturday and Tuesday I slept for sixteen hours and spent roughly twenty minutes alone. Not much fun.

The best way to test it out is to play on a sidewalk, with a hat in front of you

Hmm. I think you either be on the lower edge of the impostor effect or the upper edge of the Dunning-Kruger effect, perhaps on the transition between them.

In other words: you're probably doing fine.

My general rule of thumb is that everyone is bad at everything creative, forever.

The only way to win is to keep improving.

And I can feel my gloominess sinking down and becoming depression.

Now that I came to term with the deal with my crush, my sadness seem to just be nebulous and unplaced. How am I supposed to cope with something that I don't even know about?

Disappointment of life in general is too broad a thing to cope with.

Maybe I should go on an adventure.

Hitchhike or adventure coast to coast. If by the end you haven't found purpose in life I dunno.

Wouldn't hit hhiking across New Zealand only take a couple days at the most?

There's a reason for everything :O
And maybe there are tidbits where the sadness is still attached to that should be resolved perhaps? ThinkRemember about what you're...err, thinking when the sads hit.
I...um, always found it weird that way--personally, whenever depression or sads or regret or generally anything that leads to :( hits, there was always a connected thought, idea, image, lingual phrase where it was connected.

...I heard NZ has beautiful, sprawling plains with wonderful aesthetic views. Go hiking for an adventure! (Or paragliding O__O)

Oh new Zealand. I did not know objective lived there. I just know people here in 'merica doing it and coming home 'born again' with great big bushy beards and Jesus hair. Well my great uncle at least.

Never heard of the imposter effect. That was interesting to read about.

I feel like I need an adventure as well, but I don't have access to adventures. If you have the opportunity, go on a quest to find the meaning of life, and do it for me.

I have to say, I've thought about this a lot too. The idea of going on a roadtrip/hike anywhere, just picking a road or path and following to see where it takes you sounds really good. Getting lost somewhere you don't know. Meeting new places.
That would be so good. Objective, Caroline and IronTomato go on a huge odyssey together to find the meaning of life and to escape their everyday lives. One day there's gonna be a book about that.

* IronTomato 's brain returns to reality

Sucks that none of us can do that. ;_;
