It makes me sad that I once made an empty death threat to nobody in particular at my school and they almost expelled me, and yet thousands of queer kids get bullied and openly receive death threats all the time and nothing is done about it.
Ya schools don't do crap about the real problem

Sad: I'm always so powerless to help the people I care about the most.

the real problem is freedom

kids know jack shit about the responsibility of freedom and therefore act like little shits

i'm not saying you should beat the responsibility into them

but if other methods don't work

I just found another song that brings up some of my more painful memories.

Great.

And I really like the song too.

And yet I almost feel that I should just listen to it over and over and try to deal with the memories.

Only that likely won't work, like it hasn't the last fifteen or so times I've tried.

You aren't powerless :I
There're many ways to help others. You're only truly powerless if you give up trying. Though...that goes both ways for the person you're helping, though its a generality though; if they give up trying, don't give up with/for them, and try to...um, rekindle the trying.

My sad here is my words are like cooked spaghetti. They're curvy and not stiff and...I need a thesaurus <_<

Tiruin is trying to tell you that there are lots of ways you can help, many of which are indirect. Sometimes, the best way to help someone is to just let them know that you're there for them, you have their back, and listen to them.

Ummm ya sure emotional support for bullying is nice and all

But it's really great when the school actualy lives up to its policies against bullying

I don't get how you people offer emotional support without seeming insincere.

I'm too distant from anyone both physical and online to offer any support.
I'm also too bitchy to be the cute cheerful ball of happiness.

And offering internet hugs just don't feel adequate of me.
