*Offers hugs to everyone*
Today sucked ass.
Woke up extremely tired (I had to be for an EEG brain scan thing), then drove to the doctor's place to get all the tests done.
First, the EEG itself. They stuck about a dozen little electrodes to my head, told me to close my eyes, and flashed some lights that were blinding me through my closed eyelids at a speed so fast that I couldn't comprehend it.
Then, they had my intentionally hyperventilate to the point where I lost feeling in my arms, legs, and chest, which I didn't even know was possible.
After that, they began the Nerve Conduction Test.
They told me they would stick me with needles, but the person assured me that wasn't what was going on.
That was awesome.
Then they said that they would be shocking me with electricity.
I don't know how long it went on, but it felt like hours, and I was crying uncontrollably by the end of it.
And then the guy with the needles came in.
Turns out when the one person said there wouldn't be needles, they meant they wouldn't be the one stabbing me with needles.
There were most definitely needles, and they hurt like hell.
About halfway through, I was literally begging the guy to just give me one minute to rest, and he said "Ok."
Then he stabbed me again when I wasn't looking.
I am tired, and my eyes hurt from crying so much today.
The best part? I got the results of all those tests right afterwards. Turns out that none of them came up with any idea of what's wrong with me, so they have pretty much no additional info than before they started.
