So you can learn, and grow, and make this world a better place rather than contribute to making it worse.

...That's what I believe, anyway, on why I'm alive.

Meh.  All I do is hurt people repeatedly without trying to.  I don't want to emotionally injure people, but that's what I do.

Maybe its how you communicate what you do and those tiny details unmentioned instead of the whole idea :P

I'm eating my second bowl of oatmeal this evening. Tomorrow I'll go and get some more milk, and rye bread, and more sweet potatoes.

I feel like I have very little joy in my life. I don't think it's depression, because I'm very productive, but I live like a monk (and occasionally fantasize about becoming one). My anxiety has been acting up, so I haven't been very social, but I'm quite lonely (from a social more than a romantic standpoint- the latter is a factor, too, but from experience it's generally a function of anxiety). I would like to get a pet, but they aren't allowed in my flat. Maybe I'll see if there's any way to get a betta fish.

@Footjob, you can microwave most grains I've tried pretty easily through the microwave, even if they aren't packaged for it.

The internet is feeling like a graveyard today. I'll look at some neat looking roguelike or project or forumite. And then I notice the last date and it/they haven't been active in years. The people who worked hard on it and made it their passion gave up or moved on or died.

Well, I figured out why my mom stole my tablet. She thinks her asexual christian child was reading porn on the couch next to her other children at three in the afternoon. Okay then. Why?
And why take it for a week then? It's not like there aren't other computers in the house...

To be fair, couches are a very comfortable place to read, porn notwithstanding.

Yes, they are, that's why I was reading on it. But why assume it was porn I was reading?
I was actually on these forums, so yeah.

It's certainly a very silly assumption.
However, my parents often assume anything I'm doing on the computer is porn, so I'm kind of desensitised to it.

Whenever mom complained that something I was watching/reading/playing was too violent or sexy for me, I'd point out that she let me watch both Braveheart and Terminator 2 before I was 10 years old.

Can they not peek over your shoulder and see that you're reading something which is very much not porn? :-\

I wasn't sure if I would ever see someone on bay12 mention that rule
I guess that just answered that question
