It certainly isn't mine.

Weekend over. School tomorrow. No electricity during weekend. Exams finished last Friday. Sickness ensues in between. Typhoon hits country and local communities.
...And this Sunday was a quite nice day. Electricity came back. Dad had a thumbs-up to continue a trip we planned for a friend of his who had a friend with him who was a grandmaster in one of the unconventional(unsure on how to say 'uncommon? not heard of? rare?') martial arts styles in the Philippines.
..And I couldn't go because assignments due Monday.
Woohoo.
Grand choice that was -_- A great topper on the 'useless/unproductive post-exam days'.

That and my aunt is depressed and still suffering from post-stroke. :'(
Also stoopid typhoon. Rather, stoopid protocol in dealing with effects of stoopid typhoon but bluh. :/ Either way, its subjectively unhappy.

It sucks you had to miss this one, but there will be other opportunities. The rest just sucks. :(
Also, unconventional is an appropriate word.

Yoink has been missing for a week.

At least, by post activity, and it's slightly over a week, but the point stands.
Didn't he say something about moving somewhere? Maybe he's too busy to accompany us.

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

I'm more worried about Cheesecake since he abruptly disappeared without any explanation.

I hope he's not dead.

Wear a big trenchcoat and talk to strangers about quantum theory, obviously.

Tell me, as a person who finds it hard to make friends, how do you combat this feeling of loneliness for four months with minimal social interaction outside your family and the internet (which doesn't fill the feeling of socialising that much)?
Hobbies. Do things. Do things to fill the void and get your mind off loneliness. Worked for me for years.

I've tried that. What do you think the computer and games are for?
Exactly.

Real life activities are auite fulfilling. Try making some kvass - that recipe looks simple, but I'm in my third trial right now and still don't know whether I've ironed out all the kinks. Gives you a feeling of success and achievement games just can't provide, you know?

If you can, you should get a dog. A friendly one. As long as you walk them as much as you ought to, guaranteed to help you meet people.
