Unfortunately, I cannot into makeup anymore. Once upon a time, I was Goth. Now I turn 31 next week.
This is what i'm scared of too. The older I get the farther I am from my desired look.

Maybe I ought to get a sex change.

Dude, we've told you on the irc many times. If you're not transsexual, getting a sex change just so that you will look more feminine to attract guys is not a good idea.

I don't want to bash and I don't want to sound mean but in my personal opinion, a sex change is just wrong

But, to each his(or her) own

Agreed. If you actually wanted to be a girl, sure. But if it just to get guys, that isn't needed. Don't do it unless you are sure.

Cryxis - everyone's entitled to their opinion, of course. I worry a lot about whether people nowadays put as much thought into it as they should, and feel like there should be restrictions (a mandatory waiting period, psych evaluation, or something) purely because it is such a huge decision and you don't want anyone making it for the wrong reasons (I'm lookin at you Objective)

Well, it's not like a sex change is irreversible.

Although it's probably for the best to pretend it is.

If you're terrified of what your body will look like if it's more masculine then maybe. If you experience gender dysphoria it doesn't usually manifest as "I wanna be a girl!" but rather other aspects of your relation to your own body that can involve an inner experience of disquiet about one's own body, nagging thoughts that one should have [insert trait discordant with birth-assigned sex], or even if you'd just rather be another gender than the one you were assigned at birth.

Technically there's no reason why you couldn't decide to take hormones or other measures to preserve a certain look so long as you took responsibility for the consequences of that choice. You don't have to treat it as a matter of using certain pronouns, wearing different clothes, or getting expensive surgeries. Just do whatever you feel is right.

I don't want to imagine the train wreck that would be a double sex change crotch ( not being sexual but good god the amount of changed)

I'm not sure if I see the big deal. I mean, a sex change is a big deal, but only like, logistically, and physically, and the stuff it will do to ones brain what with the hormones and such is probably a big deal. But, so long as a person is actually aware of all the effects of it, I'm not sure if I think someones reason for wanting it could matter, and if it's not a big deal to them I don't really think it is actually a big deal. On the other hand I've always been a bit of like "well I mean even if it won't give them what they want and if it would make their life worse people should be allowed to do whatever if it only effects them"
