Someone who was apparently a child sex-slave talks about it on Cracked.

Moments like this I wish I could read people's minds to see if they do shit like using their own child as a sex-slave then enact some terrible judgement.

... The article doesn't effect me much, to be honest... because it's something I've personally rubbed shoulders with and spent many, many hours burning with righteous fury over already.  My experience with this is also one of the reasons I often contend statements about men and sexual violence...  I wish I could force her to sit in front of a mirror and look at herself while repeating "I sold my child into sex slavery".  Dad had nothing to do with it.  There was none present.  Poverty had nothing to do with it.  Her parents were rich.

And I wish I could force people to read articles like these and truly absorb how fucked up the modern world is.  We've got so good at hiding all that shit in the closet, but it's still there just as much as it has ever been, if not more.  You can't deal with a problem until you've accepted it, and the way our culture works, you're either a part of the problem or you're depressing/deluded/gullible/pushy and self-righteous if you openly acknowledge that such problems exist.

Welp. Now I want to go kill lots of people with my bare hands. You win, Cracked.

Mmph, that reminds me of knowing that already from years ago :/
Yeah, initial anger, and other feelings of retribution onto those who are being treated like that (because of their inhumane parents, as an example in citation for that article)...but then I couldn't do much other than inform others about such acts in this world and pretty much promote an attitude for others around that doesn't devolve into such inhumane ideas. [wording may be messy]

And work forward than just stay and wish to kill those people. Awareness of these acts forms a foundation to combat them.
And bloody hell will I fight against them. Ignorance of these acts lead to misunderstandings and a whole plethora of hidden dangers.

Edit: Ohai TMoM :D Nice to see you back!

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Whatever you do, don't think about being the appointed attorney for those people and being forced to defend them, because somebody has to do it.

I read that with cold detached analysis, because it's what I do, the reading that is. Choking people is a luxury I sometimes would like to be able to afford more of. Unfortunately, it seems the price of strangulation is too damn high.

The funny thing about evil is that if you smite evil. you also become evil yourself.

It's like Madoka but with more murder.
