:/

I'm a bit late, but my condolences. That sounds tragic.

I'm getting bored. Which means I'm losing motivation. Which means I'm losing productivity. Which makes me sad. Which doesn't help the whole motivation thing.

Also I'm probably developing a crush on girl-who-draws-stuff-and-is-super-friendly-and-lives-in-the-dorm-across-the-hall (totally her official name). I don't need another source of emotions like that. Quit it brain. Stop wanting to constantly see her. Stop thinking about her. Stop wanting to go hang out and talk with her. Stop getting jealous of her hanging out with other guys. Stop getting anxious that she might date other guys. Stop wondering if she already has a boyfriend. Stop being creepy and possessive of a person you barely know.

Uuuuuugh. Emotions and angst and drama and venting and wheeeee.
I wonder if all my posts to you are being missed :-\

Anyway, why don't you just tell her those nice things that you're telling us. Stop strangling yourself with IFs and MAYBEs and just do it. You're killing yourself by fear. >_>

STOP STOPPING YOURSELF. Having emotions isn't a bad thing. It's losing yourself in presumption of attributing negativity to those emotions instead of understanding them.

:/

I'm a bit late, but my condolences. That sounds tragic.

Ugh, had to read a lot of sad statistics and articles...

I really don't like learning how much things suck for people.

I propose we call Sphess_'s Potential Girlfriend "Cassandra" until Sphess_ names her something shorter that sounds like it could be real..

I haven't been in a similar situation since 2nd grade, so I can't offer any meaningful advice. I would recommend that you invite her over for some games or to try some exotic food or drink you found at the curiosity or import stores, and just confess that you like her while she's there. However, while I can see that going right, I wouldn't know for sure.

Sometimes I wish I could unsubscribe to the thread for similar reasons, but offering emotional support in exchange for emotional support is kind of what I do in real life, because I'm what's called a "very empathetic person", I guess, so I don't mind.

Really. It's a place to get your troubles off your mind, find comfort in comradely, and hug people who need it.
So this thread is a bar without alcohol.

Just talk to her Spessh, you'll probably regret not talking to her if you don't.

+1 to social interaction. It usually doesn't go as badly as you predict.

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

My parents might be getting a divorce but probably not. Somehow that's worse. And what was it about? A fucking song.

Sorry for vaguebooking but I don't even know anymore.

Fun fact of the day: crushes don't develop arbitrarily out of thin air, they develop specifically because you won't talk to her and in the absence of informations about someone you're curious about, you start extrapolating wildly.

GO. FRICKIN'. TALK. TO. HER.

If you don't, it's gonna get worse.

You know, Spehss, you could just give us her email address or a link to her facebook account or something, and we'll sort it out for you.

In a message that's about two lines long.
