So, been feeling utterly depressed and hopeless over the last couple days.

In unrelated news, family dog apparently got put down this morning. He lived to be about 14 or 15, had him since he was a puppy. He had developed arthritis and hip issues over the years and it finally got to the point where he couldn't get up this morning and was refusing to eat or take his medications for the arthritis. Last time I saw him was this last Saturday.

So that's cool. That's great. Great day so far. Goddamn I just love being alive. That's sarcasm.

Will probably try and see a college counselor about my inherent ability to never be happy later today.

Well, crushing bout of depression over being denied the chance to take the girl I wanted to prom, by that girl.
I guess this is probably a really silly thing to be so dang heart-crushed about, but darn, I'm not used to dealing with emotions.
There is another person I want to ask, but asking someone else within such a short time frame makes me feel like I'm being desperate.

Oh, I remember my highschool formal. I never asked anyone to go with me, so I spent most of the time eating ice cubes and chatting with friends about D&D.
We also had an after-party. I didn't go to the main one (though I was invited, the organiser liked me or something.) Instead, myself and about five friends went and played Pictionary and listened to the Beatles. Then we spent five hours discussing how we'd survive in a hypothetical zombie apocalypse. Many fun was had.

In other words, I wish you the best of luck in your pursuit. I can't offer any advice, so just do whatevs.

It looks like I'll have to get a laptop for this semester. Woo. I thought that I had more time, and was certain that it was next semester that I had to get a laptop.

Now I'm uncertain on whether I should abandon my desktop or not. It's going to cost a lot just to get a laptop that fits the school's requirements.
