On an unrelated note, I just came across a number of Zuma quotes with explanations as to why, even in context, they are terrible. This is almost terrified thread material, I actually don't know how this guy is running the country.

Dammit, guys, when I mentioned the cobbling thing, it was meant as an example. You weren't really supposed to-

I love you all.

Yeah, I'll agree we don't need what are essentially back-and-forth iirc conversations between a couple of people as individual posts, and we really need to challenge ourselves more in our pun-making; I think we've mastered rocks and cheese, guys.

But mostly, I think when we tell people to stop having fun guys, we should only do it because it's disruptive and not because we think they're having badwrongfun.

Yeah this is an important thing to say. Thank you for that - I get too whiny to think of it sometimes.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

May be getting Arthritis. After playing Terraria for a few hours, my wrist is so swollen I can barely move it and it has this burning pain.
Update, getting my blood tested for Lupus and arthritis, courtesy of my school nurse. Wouldn't give me a damn ice pack/ wet cloth.

Did you get tested for Boreliosis? Seeing as it's just past summer and joint pain is symptomatic of it sometimes... then again, it's an aaaaasssss, because it may manifest as any-frickin'-thing.

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

I tend to just wear socks, because boots are needed to go outside, but I don't want to wear them inside.
