Tell us seriously, now.

Did the cat bite you? :P
No, I stayed away from it, it's not rabies.

I was joking.

Admittedly at a badly picked point, my apologies, and get well soon.

I'll do you one better than a "get well soon".
Get well ASAP.

There's enough injured and sick people in my life, can't have you sick too.

Now that the grisha5 thread is dead, I need a new deity to be paladin of.

There was a High Priest of Flabort in Giant in the Playground Games.
(Not making that up, somebody actually took me for their deity after a particularly profound post of mine)

You could worship the Toad, but I guess a lot of prayers go unanswered that way.
Except smiting. Smitings happen.

Anyway, I have to work till 6:30 today!

Do you even .40 changelog? :P

Still a better track record than 99.9% (+/- 0.1%) deities.

Terrible date last night. Guy was a jerk.

Am I just beyond weird for expecting to get to know somebody before anything overtly physical happens? I spell this out on my dating profile and in person.

Nope, I'm far from perfect. I like being held/cuddled sometimes, because I have some emotional issues, but really that's something I'd call manageable baggage. Really, the girl you are going out with wanting to be held is not a bad sign. It's not an immediate ... [ahem] more physical act ... that you are hoping for, but it's not a bad thing is it? Trying for too much too fast doesn't work. Meh.... Trying too hard too fast.... Friendly, then more than friends.... [sigh]

No you are definitely not unusual. A lot of people feel that way, in fact I'd feel weirded out being touched during a first date.

I've certainly met both kinds of people and after spending a lot of time with both I've come to the conclusion that both are perfectly valid approaches...

This just boils down to both of you looking for something different.

It still sucks though Truean and frankly though I cannot psychically see how your date went, I have a feeling your "No thank you" wasn't met with "ohh sorry. Lets just enjoy the rest of the date".

Trust me, you're not wierd. Neonivek pretty much summed it up well.
Everyone has different needs and different boundries. If someone isn't willing to respect that, then they're a jerk.

*Hugs Truean in a respectable manner*

My feelings of being ill are not being consitant. One minute I feel better, the next I feel worse.
Right now isn't horrid, but still bleagh. They're letting me off work slightly early, though, so that's good.

Man, I think cuddling is one of the best things in the world. I wouldn't call a desire to cuddle baggage, I'd call it a plus. Sorry the date went poorly Truean. You'll inevitably run into a decent, respectable person.

Anyway. Calculus. Pain in the ass. Especially when it's my third time re-taking the class due to my inability to cultivate a homework-work ethic. Ugh. Sometimes I really just can't handle my inability to focus on what needs to be done. At least the homework tonight is online stuff.

I've had no motivation to do anything today. All my hobbies are uninteresting. I try and start, then quickly get bored or frustrated at the progress and lose interest.

I'm bored and have nothing to do. And that's depressing. Makes my life feel really shallow.
