Uugh had to stay behind at work today for an hour just to get everything done. And I still will probably have to work longer than I want tomorrow just to catch up.

A University print center at the start of the semester is a very bad place to be working. Especially when only staffed with two people.

So, I too was once a lonely, socially awkward teenager (who is now a socialy awkward but less lonely adult). You know what helped me? I stopped looking, and stopped worrying. I just treat all girls as friend material the same as guys (in fact, I tend to get along better with women, thank god for an understanding wife). Then, one day, I realized I liked one of my friends more than just as a friend. And guys, I escaped the friend zone! How you ask? By manning up and asking. She said yes, and we had a blissful 2 year long relationship (we broke up in the end, but are friends to this day, that's also a myth, that you can't be friends with an ex). Met my wife the same way.

Caution: DO NOT MAKE FRIENDS WITH GIRLS EXPECTING HOOKUPS. That's the wrong way to look at it. If you're her friend just to get in her pants, you're a terrible friend. If you have feelings for her, and she doesn't for you after you man up and ask her? You just gotta deal with it.

HAHA I actually met my current girlfriend, after I had said "fuck it" to the whole dating thing, by hanging out with her once or twice, flirting the whole time, then just straight up asking her out because I thought she was cute. If you like a girl, don't dawdle making small-talk and make your affections known srsly.
