I'm not good enough for them sadly.

Oh, don't say that! That's not true!
Someone likes/will like you, you just have to find them!
{sarcasm}I'm sure someone is bad enough for you!{/sarcasm}

It's because you turned us off in the RAW since we can't be used for reproduction.
I understood that reference.

(sometimes i wish i was asexual much less drama in your life that way)
True dat. Don't gotta pretend you straight or gay, so easy to just let people think what they want to.
Though it does make me sad that I won't contribute to the continued survival of the species. Well, maybe. I have some ideas as to making the technology more viable. Bigger, more compact hard-drives with the ability for self-expansion will allow more data storage allowing for a person's entire DNA structure to be stored, making cloning of that person simpler. And making data storage and retrieval even faster will also make the process faster.

As far as I'm concerned, clones don't need the memories of the parent, they're essentially the parent's child, but can form their own memories.

Asexuals can still be sperm or egg donors, so still technically in the gene pool. It's a bit awkward getting hit on, though.

If I did that I would just feel compelled to fight myself to the death.

It's the best course of action.
In the same way that attempting to get a dog to flatten your pancakes by rolling over them is the best course of action.

What if you actually want to have sex with yourself? Then it's totally redundant.

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

I heard from someone that they read an article about impregnating an egg with the host's own stem cells.
That's getting pregnant, so that's like having sex with yourself.
