Shores of Hazeron has been closed.

The one thing I liked about it was its history, and now there's no real game for that to happen in. And with the forums closing, I can assume the wiki, with all of the galactic history, will go too.

Start copying and pasting in a google docs thing.

I think the contractor was just very upset because there was somebody saying he couldn't do his job that day. He thinks I'm lying/full of crap/ stupid/ making it up. He lives in a world where the wood gets measured and then cut. Land doesn't work like that, and he won't believe it.

Tax maps are not definitive documents. Their measurements are usually rough estimates. Most of the time you have deeds done in meets and bounds, chain and link, etc. It is rarely in feet and inches like on that guy's tape measure and the tax map. 

The problem with the internet, is that it has given everybody information, but not always the right information. People think the only person they have to convince is themselves. The standards that convince you personally are not always the ones that govern the situation. Also, any idiot who can type can put anything on the internet. It doesn't work that way in real life and when it comes to the judge, none of that matters.

General bias against experts these days, especially when they tell anybody ANYTHING they don't wanna hear. Went to school for 8 years after high school got a crap load of certifications, licenses and practical experience but clearly I shoulda just listened to some guy with a tape measure..... [sigh].

Want to draw, but no pencils.

Tried to draw last night before bed, but it's hard when there are no lights to see with. Also, my pen is bad for drawing with.

But what I did in the dark last night seems okay, if a bit rough.

Unless I'm mistaken, as long as you have most of the bill/note/piece of currency, banks WILL exchange it for you.

Oh, yeah, I'm pretty sure they would as long as both serial numbers are still there.
That would require taking the time to go into a bank, though, all for $5. I hadn't planned on going anywhere 'til after banks would be closed.

To me, that's something you do next time you go to the bank, not something you go to the bank to do for it's own sake. :V

I used to worry about brain damage, but then I thought, "Meh, I'm kinda dumb anyway. Maybe head trauma will somehow cure my crippling shyness or unlock some bizarre ability or something! That'd be cooooool."
I still usually try not to break my head, though.
