Get yer unwarranted cheer outta this thread, guys. Robin Williams is dead, dammit =/

Good Morning, Vietnam is one of the first movies I can remember ever watching. It's probably not a shining example of modern cinema, but kid-me loved it. It had Forest Whittaker and Robin Williams, and it made me laugh and cry. And now Mr Williams is gone. Suicide, even. What a way to go.

Gonna go get ice cream and rewatch The Fisher King.

And lack of creativity. How do people come up with things? Everything I do just seems like a shameless rip of other people's work/ideas.
That's basically what everything is. :T

Yeah, but nothing I've ever come up with was thought of on my own initiative. Then again, nothing I've ever done was of my own initiative. No real drive to do things.

But everything I've drawn or written or modded or whatever is more often than not an attempt at copying something that someone else has done.

And holy hell does it hurt to keep looking at this monitor. I think I should go to sleep or something.

He's revisiting one of his past movies, at present. Welcome to the other side, Mr. Williams. You played the demo, now here's the full version.

I've realised that, certainly in terms of things like stories, by this point damn near EVERYTHING has been done. Either it's been done or is so random it can't be called a story.

I just bit into a jalapeno. It blasted the whole side of my face with juice and now my face is on fire.

I can help with that!

By which I mean a comedic genius who is blessedly still alive can help with that!

Beyond that, everything's a shameless ripoff on some level. The trick isn't so much to avoid ripping off as to feel no shame.

* Vector pokes around quietly

I'm using HabitRPG to help make myself do a lot of things I'm very, very scared of doing, which means I'm on a constant anxious buzz. For example, I made 3 phone calls today (TERRIFYING) and yesterday I published a game review and submitted another one for editing (MORE TERRIFYING). ;_;

On the other hand, I ordered some gifts for a little girl's birthday, am switching my phone service to one that will save me a lot of money every month, and may have an important meeting this Thursday. So, I'm getting what I want... it's just exceptionally painful.
Well, we're here for you if you need support, of course. Pretty sure you already know this, but it bears repeating.
