It's stress/emotion related. It seems like its a problem with not coming to terms with the fact that some day I will die, and that there may not be anything after that. Every time I try, I end up having another panic attack and crying. It's one of my worst fears and now I can't stop thinking about it.

Allee...I seriously doubt it is if in the least, fully, emotionally related.
You do not generate phlegm if its emotionally related--that is a sign of dead WBCs...

I believe the cough/cold was brought on because of a stress-induced, compromised immune system. I've been having the panic attacks for a few days and the cough since about 3 AM this morning. They're only tangentially related.

Or sleep with the father too.
You say that as if I wouldn't be apologizing to the daughter about sleeping with her father.

I have been doing way too much running today.

Good lord, I am out of breath.

I'm so out of shape.

I dealt with the existential dread of death by vowing to either cure death, or die trying.

I'll either succeed, or I'll be too busy not existing to be sad for failing. Win/win!

I kind of ended up doing that too. Helped a little. Also helps that my choice of profession kind of overlaps. Even if I can't cure death, maybe I can extend the average lifespan by a couple decades.

I'd happily take a couple extra decades. Maybe death will be cured in that time :>

My sad is that I think I somehow pulled my gluteus maximus or some other muscle in that region earlier today. Sudden flaring pain in the upper back leg while attempting to raise some stubborn landing gear. It hurt to put weight on that leg. It hurt to not put weight on that leg. It hurt to lie down even x_x
Now its mostly just sore.

I dunno why people go "I don't want to be immortal! Everyone I know will die!"

Well, yea. They will. But by the time you're an old man, most of the people you know will be dead anyway.

Keeping in mind immortality is not the same as invulnerability.

Given my own future profession, I'm just going to map my neuron firing patterns and upload myself into a robot or disembodied AI. Not sure which.
