That is the crux of many things. Meds =/= fix this (unlike antibiotics, which counteract the cause of many diseases, which is already due by its name 'anti/biotic' ).

Truean o-o Maybe check on your thought process, single out which thoughts cause the depression and act upon a countermeasure. Or perhaps said emotional reaction is due more to environment--in which probably take a 'break' or a vacation from the toxicity of the area in question?
