There's video footage in existence, somewhere, of one of my friends being viciously beaten at his eleventh(I think?) birthday party when the rest of us decided to give him his Birthday Punches. Well, in hindsight the punches look pretty weak and feeble given that we were little kids, but then he was a little kid, too.
Poor guy fell out of his seat, only for us to continue punching his arms as he writhed around beneath the table- whilst his dad recorded the scene with much amusement. Disclaimer: it was all in good fun. Not like we were punching him anywhere dangerous, and he laughed about it with us immediately afterwards.

Not sure what happened to that tradition amongst my group of friends, I guess it sorta fell out of practice as we got older.
Shame, that.

Most of these were by my friends. Yeah.

It was a real punch though, from a bully. I've never had someone give me a friendly soft punch or anything, and I guess that's okay because I'm sure I'd bruise ^^

I can't really say I know how you feel, because every situation is different, but I can relate.
I lost track of the times that I was beaten up, mostly because I suppresed most of the memories, but I still remember a lot of it.

Why did they do that to you, anyway? Doesn't seem like something kids would just do for no reason. In any case, you don't deserve that crap.

Stories like that kinda make me feel like an ass, when I think I have it bad because I stand still and take it when my brother has an episode and starts hitting me because I don't want to hurt him, instead of knocking him the hell out like a man. And then I go on the internet to complain because I got hit. :[
