Why does the name "Cuddles and the Shrubs" sound like a kickass band name to me?

As this point we might as well invoke interpretive dance and call it a day.

So this isn't a sad as much as "mildly annoyed inside some pretty darn chuffed", but I got my university results. First Class Honours, awesome, basically highest class of degree, again awesome. But, looking at the grade breakdown for the final year it's almost entirely straight As. One B.

Damnit sometimes I realise I can be a perfectionist. Or maybe it's just minor OCD, because there's one B amongst the As. One, taunting me. So close to straight As. Damn you Formal Specification and Refinement! But other than that, yeah. First class, wooh.

But that one B bugs me xD

So in my efforts to be more social and stuff, I learned that feelings are hard to deal with.
How do you people deal with investing yourselves into things?

Invest everything except emotion. Warning: this advice is bad. For all that, though, it's what I normally do except in very stable figurative ventures.

Pre-post edit: Vector's advice is better than mine. Vector's advice is (almost) always better than mine.

So in my efforts to be more social and stuff, I learned that feelings are hard to deal with.
How do you people deal with investing yourselves into things?

I just... do? And when I'm disappointed, I complain about my inability to acquire cuddles right now. Usually I keep a diary for various things that one really couldn't/shouldn't speak to others about.
Remember to keep it soaked in paraffin, just in case someone breaks into your house so you can burn it quickly.
This is the approach I take with my computers / hard drives.

Generally speaking, I don't invest myself into social stuff. I do (kind of) have friends, but I don't really care about the "friendship" per se. If I want to do something that coincides with what they want to do, yippee, let's do it together and have fun in the process! Otherwise, I have no problems with not interacting with them.

...

That's probably why I don't have many friends.

I was reminded of one absolutely hilarious let's player which has deleted his channel a few years ago. D:

Every time I remember him I get sad. Every. Single. Time.  :'(

My bandmate/best friend's dog ran away. We were scheduled to record some stuff today, but then this happened. He's been searching for about 12 hours now, and I was over there helping him for about half of that, but no luck. :(
