Got KOTOR 2 which I love and am happy about (especially this restored content mod
) But kinda sad how little there is to munchkining it.
I mean the only attributes that are worth getting are strength and constitution because strength determines melee to-hit bonus AND damage, and constitution gives you more health and lets you equip better implants.
All the other attributes are just sub par, Dexterity only determines ranged to-hit and defense, but even the lightest armor or freaking ROBES provide the same defense amount as dumping half your starting points into it, and any heavier armor restricts your modifier to uselessness. Not to mention that melee combat is just better because lightsabers are the king of the universe.
Having Intelligence in your main character is silly, because every other party member is a skill hound that can construct anything you need for you, and int doesn't do anything else.
Wisdom applies bonuses to your force difficulty, but the AI cheats like crazy on that anyway, so its rendered pointless as well.
And of course Charisma which is the dumpiest of dump stats
Then there are the skills, of which only persuade is important for your main character to have because that's the only skill your party members can't do for you, and a hundred times better then you.
Feats are where the true choice starts, but its still mostly just "add more killbility on top of your massive killbility" and the rest are just pointless.
Powers are pretty much feats for Jedi, there is a lot of choice, but once again its mostly just a choice between obviously awesome and retardedly useless.
The closest one can get to pure munchkinry is the item upgrade system, which is still probably my favorite such system ever, because awesome shit happens there.
Still, awesome game, just wish there was a bit more thinking involved in your build.
