History channel lost its mind and became an insane blue collar worker wearing a tin foil hat
Discovery channel did the same thing, but Different
TLC("the learning channel") Took on a bit of weight and moved into the home makeover business
A&E (arts & entertainment) moved to gritty Detroit and became a sleepy stripper
MTV used to be about music.....
Remember when the Science Channel was about science instead of specuation about aliens?
Or when Animal Planet was about nonhuman animals instead of reality shows about nonnonhuman animals?

Sometimes I feel like Vector is the only person who can understand everything LSP says. Everyone underatands Vector because she speaks in a way that our mortal brains can comprehend. Her conciousness is the only one high enough to understand the language in which LSP speaks... to all of us, his posts seem like complete gibberish, too foreign of a concept for us mere mortals to ever understand for real.

Can I have one of those ice cream cones?

LSp will give you ice cream. But on some subconscious level he'll know exactly which flavour you detest. And he will give it to you.

Saturday.  Got a ton of sleep.  Everyone else is asleep.  Freedom.

Should do something productive with this rare opportunity, but I'm frozen by wanting to do too many things at once and being unable to choose, plus Saturday is normally dedicated to leisure to recover from the week... and this was a hell of a week.

So I just keep wasting time in Rogue Legacy... which is pretty fun and addictive.

Nothing like being guilt tripped over every damn thing that I can't even control, like what the hell am I suppose to do, leave work to go make someone food because they won't do it themselves?
God damn it, I don't even have a stove, and what the hell am I to do about someone having a fucking nightmare I'm not the fucking dream police, damn it.

God, some ice cream sounds great right now.

Don't waste good ice cream on them. They're not worth the effort.

Also, legitimate sad-I haven't seen my "From the Two Rivers" book (First book in the WoT series) for over a week now. I fear the worst. Might only seem like the loss of some paper and ink to some, but I attach sentimental value to my books.

You could probably find a nice hardback of Eye of The World (the actual first book, it was split into two as From The Two Rivers and Into The Blight to aim at the younger market) pretty cheap on Amazon.

Edit: Now that I actually looked, even used copies are $15+.

Yeah, I was going to mention "I don't recall the first book being called 'From the Two Rivers' " but that explains it.

I question the logic behind cutting just the first book into smaller books. If they don't do that to the other books as well, I doubt any of these casual young readers they were going for will keep reading. The books practically just get thicker from the start.
And if they did cut every book into smaller books, the series would get even longer. I guess that would boost sales though, with more books to sell.
