Aww, I'm always a dozen posts late when there's a topic that's interesting me. Fuck it.

I'm lucky enough to have a circle of friends where the topic "who do you fancy"/rating women/love lives etc. almost never come up.
I don't have the slightest clue about the relationship status of the majority of them and I honestly don't care.
Finding out that somebody you consider a close friend has been having a girlfriend for two years and then finding out he broke up with her more than a year ago may sound wierd, but it's so much better than people who can't stop bringing up their significant other (or passing fancy) at every occasion.

Yea, but the least you expect is the odd mention...two years is a bit of a delay :/

I have five more exams. Blaaah.

At least it's better than when I used to take two extra subjects.

Good luck! I cleared the last hurdle today, and so have limited pity for you. Still, good (gloating) luck! :P

So. School is over. I still feel like shit though. Just because I'm fucking worthless in any sort of social situation. I was going to talk to my crush today, because it one of the last chances I'll ever get. (Theres one more day of school next week, she's going to a different school next year), but she went to some other people and I decided to wait a little bit but I couldn't find her some time later. I really feel like shit.
Make sure to take that plunge by the last day. Because what's the worst that could happen? if she doesn't like you back, you won't see her again anyways. If she does, then you have a chance to strike up something outside of school.

Send her a message? Email, facebook, something like that - worked for me once ;)
I try, but it somehow always turns out even more akward than if I would speak to her in meatspace.

Well that may have been a bit of an overstatement.
After all we haven't been good friends back then and been living far apart, with nobody having a drivers license yet, so the primary meeting ground was school.

The second of my three birds died of old age...

* Iceblaster sighs.

Not much to say really. I just feel fucking terrible. He wasn't the quietest bird but... I heard something hit the bottom of the cage and... He was dead.

Well, my grandad has cancer and they reckon he has until somepoint this summer. Can't give him treatment because of him being so old and not particularly healthy in the first place.
Sounds like it's a summer for plenty of grandad visits. I hope his last few months go as well as they can, given the circumstances :(

Birds seem to have an unfortunate habit of dropping dead unexpectedly. It's never easy. I'm sorry for your loss

Awkward is fine, so long as it gets her to pay attention to you :P

I often INVOKE crazy awkwardness, as a pre-emptive strike against later awkwardness. It works surprisingly well.

Er...note that it should be FUNNY awkwardness, and not "oh shit this guy is gunna raep meh" awkwardness...

Getting some clothes down from a duffel on the top bunk. Raised a shirt to put it on, stuck my finger into the whirling ceiling fan behind me.

I woke up at 5am with nothing to do. Stayed in bed until 7 while the track list of life's regrets played in my mind, punctuated by short intermissions of lusting after whichever friend I happened to be thinking of at the time.
I now realize why I game so much.

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.
