I tried to fix my bike today. My tire popped twice. I'm giving up on it.

Truly, I'm the greatest fool of all time. Be sad over Hate Plus, decide to watch anime to distract myself. Settle on rewatching Madoka, for reasons I still can't understand. Pretty sure I must hate myself on some level, because there is no other reason why I would pick that as a remedy for feels. It'd be like watching KLK to calm down.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Out of all the days in the week, it had to be today. I was hoping for a refreshing rainstorm since we had two light showers that made the heat only worse. But I wasn't hoping for it to be on the day of the freaking tournament, which is freaking outdoors.

God damn it.

Oh yeah, I do that on occasion. It's..... a strange feeling. It's like my brain is divided into 4 parts and they're having some weird vote on what course of action to take, then it slowly deteriorates into a slanging match. Not helpful when trying to concentrate.

And there's chaos when push comes to shove, but it's music to my ears.

I'm quite good at deliberately splitting my thought process without it getting distracting when I'm doing creative work. I think the only time I mentally yell at myself is when I go "SHUT UP! SHUT UP! SHUT UP!" to drown out my thoughts when I'm being lovesick or thinking about something I deem not to be productive.

This is true for me too.

Knowing Belgium, everyone will vote for themselves out of mistrust for anyone else, and some kind of weird direct democracy coalition will need to be formed from 11 million or so individuals.

Saw a guy with a boat.

Thought about how everyone calls their boats a "she"

Got sad that all the she boats have no he boats to bump rudders with.

Lucky for the lesbian boats though.

If I ever buy a boat its gonna be a he just so he can get lots of lonely she-boat tailfin.

Most of the time I forget what a fundamentally lonely, disconnected life I live. It seems that now isn't that time, though.

Giving boats male names is considered bad luck.
