As if I don't mumble enough usually, I've been losing my voice the past couple of days.

I'm in the dead voice camp as well. My voice constantly sounds like I just woke up/have been smoking for 20 odd years. Thing is, I'm only in my 20's and I've never smoked a day in my life. I attribute it to six years or so of playing in punk and metal bands, but still. I get asked if I'm losing my voice often, and in fact I do lose my voice a lot. But that just goes hand in hand with the music I have played/am playing currently (folk punk). As long as I can still sing, I'm happy though. Who needs to talk right?

Nonono, it's one thing to have a rough voice, another to be barely able to talk. It's winter here, the season for voice-loss and runny noses.
