It's a trick I learned when I used to work at the Renaissance fair. Period costumes from a culture that grew up in England + Southern Californian Spring (AKA First Summer) = adaptation needed to survive. Behind the booths they actually have coolers full of gel ice packs so that people can swap them out. Not everyone could fit one down the back of their costume but many did. I always felt so bad for the people who played the Puritans, since their garb is mostly black.
Wouldn't that apply to the head and the butt too, or is there some fundamental misunderstanding of hematology going on here?

The kidneys have some of the best blood flow in the body, and it's pretty easy to hide something on your back. I'm not sure that buttocks really have that same blood flow since they're just muscle, and having a big gel ice pack on your head would look rather silly.

You could probably shove an ice pack up your butt. I wouldn't recommend it though.

If my life were a RTD, this week so far I rolled a 1.

That may be the nerdiest thing I've ever said, but eh.

Nintendo's shutting down their online servers for DS in permanently in just over 12 hours! D:

I need to fill around 90 download song slots in my copy of Daigasso DX before that happens or I'll lose the chance to forever!

Damn, that's sad, and I don't even own a DS.

Re:Kidneys, well, one of them apparently wasn't functioning when I was born. Who knows, it might have kicked back in since then.
I'm not dead, after all, despite the amount of alcohol I consume on weekends. :P
...Maybe I should get a doctor to check up on the little guy, see what's happening in there.

Condolences for the little guy, Yoink.
...You did ask your parents about it, right? You sound unsure given the orange part.

Yes, yes you should.  Is it fair to presume that you're young?  As you get older, your kidney(s) become much, much more vital to your overall well-being.  Please do take care of your endocrine system; the longer you put it off, the higher the likelihood of very painful consequences.

3DS has been around for a long time now. This is the final steps of phasing out the DS I guess.

Just the original DS? I thought it meant ALL DSs, which just sounded batshit insane. But no that makes a lot of sense as a marketing decision. No doubt there's an element of resource management as well.

At least they are more subtle than Apple in forcing their new product.

...

If I recall correctly DSs have different type of chargers, don't they?
