I don't think that quite counts as bombing. A little lower than you thought, yeah, but hardly bombed it.
A 60 is a bomb to me.

I had a solid A in the rest of the class though. So, it only resulted in a ~10% grade drop.

Quote from: Chesterton
For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Ugh this fucking heat
It's not that hot but for me, having lived in essentially 'rain all day erry day' for the last 9 months...
Fuck summer. Too exhausting.

Andrew Scott is one of the most amazing actors I've ever seen. Watch this, it's really... it's perfect.

Go to the library to download a rather big game update so it doesn't eat up what little is left of my bandwidth for the month.

Turns out the bastards are limiting it, or there's just too many people, whatever the case, it's going at an agonizing 50 kb/s dropping to less at times :C

Sad: Exam time~ and less than 2 days since last exam.
Cue more tons of work being pulled, and little work able for hobbies.
Cue projects being piled. And projects being PILED.
And said hobbies have people clamoring for 'now now now'. Without understanding at all the person in trouble. D:
...And NOW at this moment I'm typing all this on a really awesomefriendly neighbor's laptop because either two things happened:
One. Burglary. Assumed. Presumed.
Two. Mechanical failure. Which I really hope actually bloody happened.

Because woohoo. 'Locked' out of own home because front door lock goes lolnope when key is entered. This was the afternoon of today. This morning? I'm in charge of this house (nobody else present until Sunday; tis Friday {evening} here.) and I checked that darn lock MULTIPLE times. It works like a charm. Meaning it works PERFECTLY.

Now? Slow to open. Key is able to move the locking mechanism in full turn. 'Slow' feeling of turning, as if I'm pushing glue with my key instead...
I really damn well hope this is mechanical failure because that one door prevents me from accessing my anything.
ANY I'VE MANY PROJECTS DUE TOMORROW.
Alleviated by this current event now: friendly neighbor lending me the everything needed.  :'(

And all these other sads I'd like to aid in but can only say 'I'm open for advice'

Well, at least you're getting help Tiruin. Work, school or otherwise, can be hard at times; but at the end of it you'll pull through. And you have a really nice neighbour there, as well :P. Any neighbours I've ever had were either friendly with my parents but not with me, or aloof to all of us, so it's nice to see you getting assistancw.

Bad thing is the most likely assumed burglary. My knowledge of locksmithing does not ease my presumption on why the fish that lock was all...like such.

Just played the Stanley Parable.
It started with me trying to explore all of the endings.
And then I started listening to the stuff he was saying during all of the endings.

... Now I am in desperation to do something life-affirming.

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

Go to the cargo room and through the red door, then quit the game. Alternatively, obey until the door with ESCAPE shows up, then quit when asked to.

At first, I was like "I see nothing wrong, looks like a nice cool week." Then I realized it uses a sensible temperature scale. Japa, how do you live?

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Yikes.

If you want baked potato, do you just leave it on the road for a while?

I would suggest not doing that. There's a significant chance the road might stick to it, which isn't healthy.
