I don't think that quite counts as bombing. A little lower than you thought, yeah, but hardly bombed it.

No, he literally caused an explosion. It wasn't large enough to qualify for an A, though.
You don't want it to be too big, everyone knows you get the biggest explosions in physics.

Saw a young owl being mobbed by crows on the way back from class. The crows returned to the trees once the owl hit the ground, but then I got too close to it and it spooked and took off, and once in the air it got mobbed again. People kept trying to come up to the owl to take pictures, spooking it and getting it attacked back to the ground again. I spent about an hour standing at a medium distance, keeping people (and crows) away from it.

Eventually the crows had cleared off enough that I was able to spook the owl into taking shelter in a windowsill (the campus buildings have deeply inset windows) without fear of it being divebombed again. Poor bird was pretty obviously terrified, exhausted, and overheated the whole time.

I feel like the last few days have been just grinding away at my willingness to do much of anything lately. I can't even find out why. Maybe somethings missing...

Believing that you're useless will only make that an actuality. Believe in yourself, and the you can be the one to set the limits. You're only useless if you think you are, and I assure you, no one here thinks you are, either.

Mind, some of us certainly think we are.  Chin up, you're probably more useful and relevant than I'll ever be!

...I imagine I'll cheer up a bit more once the finals stress wears off.

As long as you're not a vegetable, you are useful. And you're most certainly capable of accomplishing a lot for yourself. Remember that erosion simulator? Not many people go through the effort of properly simulating erosion mechanics. And Chartered Waters. I still want to see updates for that! You make awesome stuff!

The heat here is eroding my ability to even think. I'm not dehydrated, but my eyes can't focus when I'm walking around and I lose coordination after standing up for a few seconds. I have to sit next to this fan to think about anything.

The heat is unbearable here. After I got home, I had to lie still for an hour and a half to get rid of my headache.

I'd ask for a round of "Fuck Summer" but 1) It's not here yet, and 2) I don't need any assistance to give a full round all by my lonesome. During spring, I curse the summer. During fall, I curse the summer. During winter, I curse the summer. Summer, I'm too miserable to actually curse the summer, but you damn sure better believe I'm thinking it the whole ruddy time. Actually spend most of the year cursing every season except winter but details, bah.

Also it's only getting into the upper 80s, lower 90s so far. It's still spring. It's only hot. Later comes incandescent misery and the knowledge that the only reason the air doesn't ignite is because it's boiling instead.

Summer is here. I don't care if people officially divided the seasons into 3 months each, in practice they vary by climate. In Southern California Spring lasts 1, maybe 2 months.

Summer is in full swing here, and we've had a blackout since early last night.

Spring here is continuing the trend of "Oh so you think you can predict me? Well COME AND TRY". The only constant is misery. Although the linden's are nice.

On a related note, my father has refused to have our air-conditioner serviced.
