My motherboard has an outdated DDR that severely limits my ability to upgrade my ram. Therefore, I need a brand new everything to enter the modern age of 4+ GB ram. Pretty annoying especially when it has modern PCI slots. What the hell, motherboard.

It's four times less than I have. And that's terrible.

Decapitated a mouse today.

Cat had broken it's spine, so it's hind legs weren't moving, but it was making painful noises as the cat sat back and watched, purring.

So I brought the cat in, and got a shovel. When I was a kid I made the mistake of trying to gently kill a dying pet hamster, so I made sure to strike quickly and efficiently, and disposed of the body.

Goodbye Squeekers.

(I probably shouldn't have given it a name as I was carrying it to the back yard for execution.)

That's one reason I don't like cats...kill, yes. They can't help themselves. But to...play with it? Nuh uh. Evil bastards.

There have been studies to indicate that the "play" behavior is actually to tire out the prey so they can kill it more safely without risking being bitten/scratched in the face.

I am powerless to help those important to me who have problems in their mind.

I can't try to help with words, or be there with them. I don't know what to do. They can't and won't see a doctor because to do so would cost them their dreams.

I can't do anything.

I am useless - worthless - as they break.

Maybe that is part of it. However, once you see them with a mouse in their mouth, still struggling without being killed, it becomes hard to like them.
