I may or may not lose my internet access at some point soon.

I hope not.
Aw. Why (if 'tis ok)? :c
'Tis ok.
It's because of problems with paying bills, working at a fast food place isn't exactly too great for finances.
Although, even if I do lose it, I use a laptop, and live literally across the street from a library with free internet access, so even if I can't get on daily, I should still be able to pop in now and again.
But hopefully, I can keep it, so that won't be an issue.
Here's to that!

I think fapping actually lowers your risk of prostate cancer, but that may just be an urban myth or something.
Apparently so O.o

A theory is that it removes carcinogens from your prostate. Or, as one website puts it, it 'clears your pipes'

EDIT: wait, this might mean I'm a walking bastion of anticancer.

WOOHOO!

Now just avoid everything on this list.

What? How is this even enough of a thing that data for cancer research is compiled on it? I realize this list is probably facetious.

Sometimes reading the Happy Thread makes me deeply sad and hateful of my own life.

I actually started seeing a Counselor just recently. He's a much older gentleman than myself. I think he has a nice personality and is pretty agreeable to speak with. I still feel like a pathetic loser for speaking with him and telling him how I'm scared to go to places associated with girls I know.

I'm just so conflicted as to what I should do with my life. I feel like I don't exist.

Find your own meaning to life, according to your beliefs in a higher power.
Not everyone can be at the highest rung of the ladder, but everyone can contribute to the vast pyramid that is society. There is only one pyramidal block at the top, but how many blocks are at the bottom? How many in-between? And once the base of the pyramid has expanded, won't the top block be just another unimportant in-between block?
You don't need to be the best to be someone who matters.

My cold was fine yesterday. Really bad when I woke up this morning. Then bearable for a few hours. Now it's on the fast track to hellish.

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

My friend just left a couple of hours ago. I just feel really lonely right now, since he's one of the few people I actually socialize with.

Can always cruise over here to Australia and party with the Bay12ers down here. :)
Unless you're already in Australia. In that case get out if you can.

Stupidity is not a vice. Ignorance is understandable. Pretentions of snobbish superiority are what makes this bad.

I know what it is, the question was in the sense that I was mocking the Facebook posters for not knowing the answer.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.
