The people you're around are pricks, MC. And seem fairly intent on taking advantage of you, to your detriment. Least that's what I'm reading from it.

... best of luck, et al. Only advice I could give would be to start just saying "No." If you've got a bad back, 30 pounds of charcoal can go stuff themselves and someone else can deal with the trees. If you've reminded folks about bread, and they decided not to get it, then it's on them. Bread can wait until tomorrow, when they go get it. You're not their errand boy, and it's not vital. If folks have a problem with that, well. Too bad? Eventually you have to a draw a line and take care of yourself...

Yeah, I'd really like to just tell people to do stuff themselves, but I can't really do that because they help pay the bills, since I don't make enough on my own, so I'm sort of just stuck here having to deal with it unless I find a way to not need them anymore.

Mm...try to..to help them in a way that achieves mutuality? :/
I mean they seem selfish but...bluh. I believe there's a way to encourage mutual progressiveness instead of them laying it all on you. :\
Though it really does make me sad that they're doing that to you...with lacking empathy.

I'm pretty sure I've contracted strep. The symptoms only started a few hours ago, and oh god, my head.

Can't you tell them that your back prevents you from moving, Mastah? As in, "I literally friggen cannot stand?" Can you ask you  wife to have some influence on the people you live with? She probably will be on your side.

I have had to do that a couple times, when it did get really bad.
And yeah, she tries, but it doesn't really help a whole lot, because they don't really care about what she has to say, either, despite being directly related to her.

Look, Mastah, your spine is pretty much the only thing that's keeping your upper part, well, up, and it gets an inordinate amount of mechanical stress due to that. So if you tell them that your spine hurts so goddamn much that you cannot move from the lying position and only have the strength in you to go to work, it won't sound implausible.

In other news, Tiruin confirmed for Lawful Good.

Yeah, I know, that's the worst part. And this isn't even uncommon.
One of the other things that I had forgotten about until just now, I also couldn't even wash dishes in the kitchen sink over at her grandpa's place, because his sink was broken. The person who was supposed to fix it?
My wife's brother.
The reason he wasn't there, fixing it, like he said he would?
He was in a different state entirely.
...Although, his excuse is by far the best part.
He "couldn't find his wrench."

..Now, this excuse is already bullshit, for being in a completely different state, but the kicker is this.
This shitlord owns a damn car shop literally ten minutes away, and he can't "find his wrench".

Explain that one to me.

^ This, mastah.
You could take it in any other way if it didn't hurt you or cause physical strain or stress on the muscles that mechanical injury wouldn't occur.
But it looks like it is taxing you too much.
So...err, bring that idea up, too? :X

PPE: Ah, oops. Got my post by a minute there.

Oh, I should probably take my medicine, now.

Tiruin seems to be adorably naive about people who are... Well, not really worth the air they breathe.

Everybody deserves the air they breathe, with very rare Pol Pot-level exceptions. Just because people are bad doesn't mean they don't deserve forgiveness or mercy. You have to take appropriate safety measures against them if they are seriously screwing you over, like is the case with Mastah and Vector, but you should also always try to make proper contact and reach understanding. Hate only leads to more hate, and then comes only ruin.

Yeah, even if I dislike someone, I still don't want harm to come to them, or anything like that.

Also, I just realized that I'm taking a medicine for allergy relief.
It has a side-effect of drowsiness.
I'm also taking an anti-depressant.
Which can cause drowsiness.
And my new "mood stabilizer" medicine.
Known for causing drowsiness.

Conscience... dwindling...

Aaarrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhhhhhh.....
...But I still don't feel like sleeping, I just feel so disoriented.
