Someone should invent a sparring weapon which lets you cut loose without breaking bones.
Even the most active 'contact' disciplines like kendo make you wear bulky crap.

I have been clobbered by a wiffle bat at pace, though, so I can tell you they could do some damage if they hit fingers or wrists.

Perpetual angry face is a problem I have.

In the pictures where I smile I look like a tool.

Also, I am bored but don't want to play any of the games I have. Don't know what do.
I, too, am a sufferer of Resting Bitchy Face. A bunch of people seem to think that I must absolutely hate them.

A whiffle bat made out of foam.
Smart, as long as you're willing to go through a few per session.

The worst part is when they demand that you change your face.

It's not like it's a conscious act on my part. Though smiling all the time would be.

Also, I'm still awake, but I really shouldn't be.

Or hell, just do slap fight.

Yes I know you can kill people by slapping them, but it generally only leaves bruises, welts, and occasionally tears open your face.

If you were going to do hand to hand, boxing gloves do perfect work.

I want to work on my code, but I've hit a snag and I can't go any further until I've fixed it.

Not really. Even sparring can leave you with welts, bruises, and broken bones if you aren't prepared to take more than a jab. The gloves are there to protect your hands, not your opponent. There's a reason mma fighters vaseline their faces before fights. It prevents the first few shots from cutting you open.

Danger is half the fun in any contact sport, if you want just the pain with no threat to your body integrity, do ballet.

Ugh. Insert rant on the differences between fistfighting and attempting to run eachother through with wooden swords here.

Yes, I've seen the video. Y'know, before someone assumes I haven't.
