Heard mixed reviews.

My two cents is that it's a horrible waste of time and money. You can pretty much run through the game without trying to hide from anything, because the monsters do so little damage and attack so slowly that I was able to stand right in front of one for something like two minutes before I was killed, and then instead of losing any progress, I woke up in an open cage about 10 feet away. After that happened, I gave up trying to hide and never even got hit again.
People say it's worth it for the story and atmosphere, but people who say that have obviously never played the first game.
