Her experiments are biased, her story is biased, and she is biased. She's far from being a real scientist - scientists are supposed to look at things in a detached, unemotional, logical manner and base things on facts alone. If she was a legitimate researcher, she would've proved it before storming into the office of the person in charge and declaring Oculus Rift sexist.

I wasn't necessarily talking about your definition - that bit was mostly meant for the article's.

I haven't read the article too closely, that sites layout is horrible. But did it claim just VR or all 3d things?

Since I can speak for myself and say I've never felt sick back when I played with some older VR things when I still had both my eyes. And I've never felt sick playing games rendered in 3D. Even old raytracing 3d like in wolfenstein.

I wonder if what she's seeing is just motion sickness.

Pretty sure the article mentioned 3D games as well as VR stuff. And IMAX was mentioned near the beginning.

Today I mentioned that I believe in God to a girl and she literally ran away from me. Apparently being christian makes you crazy and violent, as far as public opinion goes.

Protip: Having opinions makes you crazy and violent (to a lot of people). Instead you should replace any speech with "like" and "you know".

It's always awkward when someone flees for their life for no particular reason.

I've had that happen once because someone thought I had poor taste in music. And several times because I told them I have scoliosis, and they didn't know what it was. Hell, some people who did somewhat know what it was have ran away from me, because they didn't want to catch my shortness.

Seriously? They actually ran? The girl I was talking about walked away very briskly, she didn't really flee.

Yea, back in highschool. No-one I've ever told seemed to completely know what scoliosis was, and a few had thought that it was some contagious, crippling disease.

To be fair, it can be crippling if it is severe enough. I'm just happy that I don't need a metal rod grafted to my spine or have any of my ribs removed. I wasn't happy that they denied me a back brace though. The specialists said I was too old for one.

I remember one person who didn't know what it was, and when I explained it he refused to believe me, and demanded to feel my back. He did, then he yelped and ran off. This happened in the middle of class, I might add.

But at least I have a genuine answer for when people ask me why I'm short.

People seriously ask why you're short?  What fresh hell is this?
