I once was a fan of bacon wrapped in bacon served with bacon and ketchup.
Everything's better with bacon. No more sads, just bacon.

I could never get why people hate broccoli.
Um, because it tastes pretty awful?

Ya'll realize that different people have different tastes and that your experience of broccoli's flavor is not identical to another person's, right? That there's no objective way to determine how good something tastes?

Broccoli's delicious to me, and though it's nasty to you, neither of us are wrong.

For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

I don't see how that excuses my ketchup sandwiches though. Looking back, I think I may have had an addiction to ketchup. If it was edible, I would put some on. Exceptions to eggs and candy. Scrambled eggs are nasty with ketchup.

You fucking monster.

I want to sig this. Also, it didn't really taste that different.

Actually, I like broccoli, but don't like cauliflower (though I eat just about anything.) You aren't allowed to have different tastes than me, my taste buds are right and your are wrong... somehow.

I dislike broccoli in itself, hut it tastes pretty good with other stuff. Especially fried. Or whatever it's called in English. Over here it's basically a staple of "Thai" vegetable mixes over here, and I really like those.

I find that most people who dislike broccoli do so because they've only ever had it boiled to death.
Because a surprising amount of people think that cooking any vegetable just involves throwing it in warm water until it becomes a part of the liquid. That's not cooking vegetables. That's making soup.

I have, in fact, been effectively force fed broccoli prepared in several different methods, over the years.

I dislike broccoli because the taste of it, in all the forms I've tried it, makes me have to forcibly suppress a vomit reflex. Or vomit.

Broccoli is actually my favorite green vegetable. What I don't get is lettuce. Lettuce isn't food to me. I can't eat it. As soon as even a tiny piece gets in my mouth the part of my brain responsible for only eating food goes "INEDIBLE POISON DEATH SPIT IT OUT SPIT IT OUT SPITITOUT". It literally triggers my gag reflex if I don't spit it out.
