MZ, I challenge your sister to a one-on-one fight. She doesn't stand a chance against my one hundred ten pounds of sh-earerier power.

You gonna shear her pigtails off? NOO! that's where her power lies!

It's been a long time since anyone's attacked me with a poisoned weapon. (My sister was a terror to behold. She tried to kill me, literally, on several occasions.)
...

Guh?!

How was her face at the end of it?
I'm sure it didn't feel good, but you have to remember that my sister could out-deadlift everyone on the football team in high school. She was basically the T-1000 with pigtails.

Friends, we have discovered a weapon more dangerous by far than the orbital magma cannon. And it wears pigtails
I'd like to do something similar with my daughter (but with much better control,) but she's more interested in ballet than facepunching. I wonder about that girl. :P

Unless you're bringing 110lbs worth of scissors, you may be in trouble.

That was part of the joke too. This is all part of my grand magnum opus of a joke.

Shear = cutting as with scissors
Sheer = nothing other than, complete, unmitigated

The joke is that MrWillsauce should have written "sheer" instead of "shear", which MZ understood, but intentionally misunderstood to mean that MW's power was scissors-related instead of unmitigated. The humor stems from the reader also understanding what MW meant and charitably ignoring the typo, then finding someone (MZ) who both brought up the mistake (release of social tension) and appeared to misunderstand MW's intent to be equal to what he actually wrote - with another layer of perversity in that MZ is probably smart enough to catch the typo and is not actually misunderstanding MW's intent (a late enjoyment of the reader's growth through the Preoperational Piaget stage where a child is able to think from the perspective of another person and enjoys the dissonance between reality as he perceives it and reality as another person perceives it, and the lesser knowledge that this other person has).

EDIT: and it took me long enough to type that, that everyone else kind of ruined my "ruining the joke" joke.

Good gods people, it's been something like a post a minute for the last half hour in here >_<

My singing sounds the same pitch, and does not change. Again, monotonous.
It might be worth it to look into some of the musical styles that don't involve vibrato and whatnot. Some stuff is intended to be monotone, or something pretty similar to it, and can still sound pretty nice. Tunak tunak tun is, I think, (close to?) an example.

From what I understand, you might start looking in the middle eastern or heavily islam-influenced areas.
