Feeling depressed every single day is not a good feeling to have ...

No, it's really not... I've been there too, lately. Sometimes you just need someone to step in and cheer you up.

Urrrrrgh, I still feel sick despite all my best efforts.
I don't want to be ill for the weekend. :( I've no idea why I have this sore throat, or why it won't go away.

You may note that that cat is gnawing on the stuffed toy's neck.

It isn't hugging it. It's mauling it.

For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

The most adorable kind of mauling is kitten-exclusive.

My friend is ignoring me every time there's more than two of us talking.
I'm this close to ditching him.

Was play-fighting with Wolfeyez (this is quite common. She has some powerful legs), and I broke one of her fingernails. She's not treating it as a big deal, but I still feel bad.

Have been listening to some good music recently. This makes me happy (The type of music I listen to is more upbeat) and sad at the same time. Makes me sad because I can write alright. I could make some lyrics up. But I couldn't write the actual music (This I could learn and intend to do so.) What really bothers me that, even simply reading out what I've written, it comes out as a dead monotone. I can not read poetry. My singing sounds the same pitch, and does not change. Again, monotonous.

I know this seems petty compared the real sorrows of the world, but it eats me up a bit every time I hear a good singer.

Edit: Yes, Pan's Labyrinth is sad. I kinda wanna see what would happen to the son if the father kept him...
