I have a similar problem in that I have no idea how to start a conversation with the person I have a crush on.

Step 1: How old are you, and how do you know them?
Vector: 16, they are in my school.

Yeah, just talk to them like you would anyone else.  And maybe don't ask them out until you've gotten to know them a bit.

Last I glanced at research on the subject, the answer is "Probably not". Iirc, it takes a worse lighting situation than computer screen in the dark, over a very, very long period, with other considerations on the side, to actually do much in the way of damage. If your eyesight's deteriorating, it's probably just genetics, or other issues.

Dunno, it's pretty reassuring to know I can blame my dad too rather than my computer.

I try my best during the week, but in the weekend there's not really anything I can do about it and it's just annoying to think about her when I'm doing homework (it also saps all of my motivation to code.)

Sympathies. Been on both sides of that, and it's shitty.

So very much want to FTB.

Unfortunately I have university today... and my folder and timetable are missing.
And I just know I'm going to use it as an excuse to not go.

Sorry, pretty sure we've already discussed social anxiety ruining our educations.

Edit: To salvage some honor here, it's actually because I spent most of my life in a small country town and have moved to 'the big smoke' to get an advanced education, and just started going to a really, really big university. So it's not social anxiety, it's agoraphobia.

One of my good friend's grandfathers recently passed away and I want to extend condolences but I don't want to make the situation any worse.
I know it's probably better for me to say nothing because of this but I want to atleast acknowledge that I'm there for her if she needs a shoulder.

Missed someone today, went to find her and she made it very clear that she was with someone else and didn't want to have anything to do with me anymore as a result. Somewhat depressing... Especially since we broke up a couple days ago, and were really happy just a couple weeks ago.

(I guess I just needed to complain about it, I don't know.)

Definitely extend your condolences, just don't be overbearing about it. I know I appreciated the well-wishes when my mother passed, it can matter more than it seems.

Just... g'luck, C. Whatever it is.

Dunno if the words offer any comfort, but... chill as much as you can. Get some rest. It'll help more than worry, y'know?

Thanks, I needed that... It's just weird thinking of her as my ex. She was my fiancée a week ago.

Spring break will officially be over about 3 hours from now.

Time to play "regret everything you did and didn't do and feel unreasonably guilty over the whole waste of time and then bitch about your stupid unreasonable feelings about how everything you do is a waste of time on the interwebs". So much fun. Woo, emotions.

Ouch. I cringed at reading that. Have some more sympathetic text-based hugging. *insert hug here*
