Oh well, at least they aren't the stupid crud like male enhancement scams or anything, but that's probably because I use an obscure email site that scammers don't know about.

Go check your facebook notification settings. UNCHECK EVERYTHING pertaining to email. Because that's the annoying part, it's checked 'on' by default.

Also depending on what...email provider(?) you use, I believe there's a function that deletes all mail associated with the address.
