It's happened to me a lot too. With a lot of different people... to be fair I appreciate that things come up sometimes, and I've had to cancel engagements a fair few times myself... but It's really frustrating to watch it happen again and again.

It seems to happen 30-50% of the time whenever I sort something out with someone.

I feel so sick right now I don't feel like doing anything.
I don't even feel like playing video games right now, which is normally something that I can do at least rather mindlessly to get my mind off the pain. This would likely be the time I would try to update my forum games, if I had the physical or mental energy to do so. That actually sounds like it would be fun if I were up for it.
I just feel so hopeless right now, I don't really know how to explain it. Like I could be doing something useful, and instead I'm just laying here being useless because I don't have the energy to be productive.
Also, apparently when I'm sick enough to get the week off work, that is somehow translated to everyone as "that means he can drive us all around all day long!" so I actually got home at a later time today than I would have if I had worked today, because nobody will get a frelling driver's license but me. I think that's part of the reason I have no energy, I should be getting rest through all of this.
I think I'm just going to go to sleep right now since I don't feel like I can do much else.

That said, there are some general trends that could be considered true for most subreddits/boards, and these trends are different for both sites.

Funny thing. /r/dwarffortress was often considered one of the greatest communities there, but from what I've seen (and experienced), /r/kerbalspaceprogram has replaced it, in reputation and in reality--/r/dwarfortress seems to have some issues recently with... downvoting posts asking for help, which is some rank shit.

I will say that the vast, vast majority* of reddit is shit though. Virulent, plague-eaten shit. There are some pretty good subs, but they seem to be more the exception. And sometimes even they have their problems. :/

Spent two days looking forward to an outing yesterday that included lunch at a chinese buffet.
Went yesterday, had an unfruitful shopping trip but at least we can have chinese food!
