Splitting a rotten log. It was sort of depressing:
Hello little wood grubs, pill bugs, and termites, sorry about messing up your home for the winter, in fairness most of you would probably have been eaten by woodpeckers anyway.

EDIT: Also feeling really tired, and incapable of decent thinking stuff. Blug.

But I do not think that you can equate that with rape unless he is the one who arranged for the person to drink unwittingly or unwillingly.

If I don't know if someone can consent or not, then it's not time to solicit them for sex.  It doesn't matter if I put them in that state or not.

Like I said, I recognize that using someone's intoxication is not a good thing, but I wouldn't call it rape. Plus there's the matter that both parties might be too drunk to know better.

Sad that I don't get to hang out on these forums nearly as much as I used to.  Or do nearly as much internet reading in general.  I miss being up at night when the world is quieter and my eyes can rest.  Seven months into this job... it's better for my family, and I've pulled out of the depression that Fedex put me in... but I still need something else pretty badly.  I'm just exhausted all the time now.  No time to tend to my own needs.  Every day feels tense and frantic.

Never make a "this is our song"-type deal out of your favorite song, it's just gonna suck that much more when the whole thing ends badly.

@alcohol and sex discussion.

Let's not try to define what rape is, please. It won't end well.

Ouch.

For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

I feel terrible today.
Yesterday, I went to the doctor's, and told him about my problem with the pain medicines I was on.
Previously, I was on two different, prescription strength pain killers, because my back was in extreme amounts of pain. These worked, quite well, in fact. I was actually able to do my job very efficiently and without pain, for the first time in a very, very long time.
The problem with them, is that one of them made my acid reflux worse (really, it didn't make it all that bad, but it was annoying) and the other made me super apathetic towards, well, everything. (I think I mentioned that one before in the thread)
So his response was to take me off of both of the medicines, and put me on a single, over-the-counter strength pain killer.
This was clearly not sufficient.
The entire day I spent at work, I felt like I was about to collapse at any moment from all the pain, and it was a very tedious, long struggle to make it through. It wasn't helped at all by the fact that they made me work a longer shift than usual.
Another thing that made it worse, that was completely unrelated, was the fact that my throat hurt like hell.
So after work, I decided to go to the doctor's to get that checked. He literally took a single look at it and said "Yup, that's a virus." He then let my wife look at it while he shined the light in my mouth and explained that what I have is called "Viral Ferengitus." (not sure if I spelled that right) which is basically like a canker sore in your throat that hurts horribly and is contagious. So I asked if I'd be able to go back to work, and when I told him I work at a fast-food place, he said that I would likely get the food infected if I made it, so now I'm off work, again.
I gave the work excuse to the supervisor, and they said that I'd definitely have to talk to the general manager about getting this much work off on such short notices, which won't be fun. But I don't really care, there is no way in hell I'm going to willing do something that has a risk to getting someone infected. Work can suck it, as far as that is concerned.
Oh, and I found out why my back hurts, apparently, a couple of the vertebra in my lower spine is too narrow, and can't properly support the weight of my upper body. That's frelling awesome. I also have some fluid in my knees, which explains why it hurts to walk for long periods of time, and I have a vitamin D deficiency, so now I'm on some weekly medication for that, as well as orders to drink more milk and go outside more often.
I hate being outside.

Oh, what made me sad today is remembering that r/mensrights is a place that still exists and has somehow not been shutdown yet. It's basically a bunch of straight white cis guys whining about how they don't have as much power as they used to and talking about how rape is okay when they do it. I'm just wonder how this place has not been taken down since they literally say that rape is okay. Did she say no? Well that's okay, she probably wants it anyway. Is she ignoring you at a bar because you're a fat loser who hasn't showered in a week and wears trenchcoats and fedoras and sleeps with Pinkie Pie plushies? Slip some drugs in her drink and feel like a hero by taking her home and taking advantage of her while she's passed out. If she tells anyone about it, say she's lying and call her a whore or a slut, and then make up statistics about how the majority of rapes are falsely reported. (I believe it's something like 5%, whereas the percentage of rapes that go unreported is far higher.) If that doesn't work, call her a femi-nazi and tell everyone she just hates men. Also, remember, trans women are legally required to wear signs saying that they are trans, and if they don't, they are lying to you and trying to trick you into sleeping with them, even if you were the one who hit on them in the first place. Never take responsibility for your own actions or ignorance. Always assume that everything is someone else's fault, because that's the manly way of doing things!

Judging the whole sites instead of the different boards / subreddits is just pretty stupid imo.

Yeah, pretty much this.

That said, there are some general trends that could be considered true for most subreddits/boards, and these trends are different for both sites.

In a perfect world, sure. But in reality, negative experiences tend to heavily color the portrayal of the whole. For every awesome thread or subreddit, there tends to be one that is...somewhat less so.

So my question stands: which of the two could be considered worse? Not objectively on-the-whole measurably worse, just which one has the worst horror stories.

Well, I only visit subreddits I like, but I visit /b/ if I want to disgust myself.

Not a hard decision to make for me :v

Reddit is the wannabe 4chan, so... 4chan?
