I got kicked out of a Rust community.
Worst of all was the reason.

"It's not that we don't trust you. We trust you completely. We just don't like you."

Well fuck. Personality self-improvement binge, Go!

Why do you feel the need to change yourself because they don't like you? It's their problem if they don't like you. You might want to ask them why they don't like you, but that doesn't mean you need to change to suit them. Find another, slightly more accepting group of people to play with!

I take it down to law of averages. The goal is to have the most amount of people like me, and least amount dislike me, even though a small percentage will always dislike me simply for being what I am. Which in this case would be some kind of phoney.
But, C'est la vie.

Added to that, if the majority of my time is spent in games and talking to gamers, then that's the bell curve I'm going for.
It's a hell of a mission, but my original personality was honestly so abrasive that people could barely stand me.
So I generally need to do a refresher every now and again when I've slipped. It's just sad to know that I have.

Eww. Was it moving? Are you sure it wasn't a weird looking nub of something else? Was it canned or homemade soup?
Very sure it's not a well disguised noodle. Might have been alive before I boiled it, but I didn't see it move under it's own volition. I was making packaged instant noodles, not the cup kind.

Some searches brought up grain weevil larvae as a possibility; I'm not the first to find them in instant noodles. This one looks different than the photos I've seen, but similar enough.

Luckily I've not seen any sign of an infestation. The noodles were the oldest non-canned food in the house and the cupboards are otherwise bare by the end of every week or two. Would hate to deal with an infestation.

If it's not weevils, it might be a grain moths.

Valentine's day leaves me feeling pretty bad.

Knowing Belgium, everyone will vote for themselves out of mistrust for anyone else, and some kind of weird direct democracy coalition will need to be formed from 11 million or so individuals.

Valentine's day leaves me feeling pretty bad.
Don't. Love is just a sham invented by the greeting card industry.

Nonono, the FLOWER industry is a sham invented by the card industry.

Chocolate actually controls most of south America.

That's actually pretty plausible, historically at least.

When I woke up this morning, pain levels were at 11/10. Hurts to breathe, but I still managed to get out of bed. Work later is going to be hell.

Woah, woah, woah.

I'm slightly worried about how flattered I feel being called a heartless corporate kingpin.

Back to being heavily depressed again. I'm not really sure what to do about it.

I find myself wondering if I maybe need a "me" project to take up, but I'm not sure what that project would be exactly.

I suppose I could try pursuing a writing project of some sort. Or try doing one of those LP's I've wanted to do for so damn long. I don't know.

Combine the two; do a written lp?
