Just a guy I looked up to. We were pretty close in school, but didn't talk much afterwards.
And he died after crossing the finish line of a marathon. Which is sordidly impressive.
Therefore, introspectively, I seem to be a bundle of standard sorrow, regrets and survivor's guilt.
It is not a pleasant feeling.

An awesome, instrumental power metal band I had the pleasure of seeing live a while back... have announced that they're putting lyrics on their upcoming album. The lack of vocals was what made it so unique... Maybe they'll have a good vocalist, I don't know, but it still makes me sad.
Their music was rather hypnotic, I can see vocals spoiling that effect.

also the experience is probably different. i don't have a set of both to do empirical research, and i apologize for such a display
