My New Years plan is to be a curmudgeon and refuse to acknowledge that it's a holiday.

Just like I do every holiday.

Meh. I'm just gonna stay up all night because that's all my sleep schedule allows, which sucks, because while I can still function, I have zero energy. It's like I'm so tired I can't sleep.

I'm with my parents and grandmother :/

I mean, I like them, but I'd rather be alone I guess.

Turns out I have no self control and thus can't get jackshit done given 8 hours with nothing to do.
Clearly I will be successful at this living on my own thing.

Best solution I've found to that is to stick things on my calendar with a pop-up to remind me, and then tell myself that I MUST do the thing when the popup appears. As long as I do that I can usually get what I need to done. It takes some discipline but less than remembering to do something and stopping what you're doing alone.

My New Years plan is do sadly blow one of those thingies whilst sitting on my computer drinking sparkling water because I can't have champagne.
You mean a harmonica?
No this.
A harmonica would be cooler. More entertaining, too.

So I kept myself from emailing her some serious hate mail. Teaser: it ended with "Have your parents send me a clipping from the newspaper when you eventually blow your brains out. I'll put it on my fridge."

Luckily, I have more self control than that. Haha
