Source potentially unreliable, but still.

Scientists accidentally killed oldest known creature.
It's the Daily Fail, so I'm already inclined to call "bullshit". Add the fact that they mention killing the animal in two different ways (first they said it was by opening it, then a paragraph or two later they killed it by putting it in a freezer)...well, I want a more credible source.

Had a date last night my nerd-side was hopeful for that didn't go so well.  Especially when we tried to part ways at the restaurant door only to realize we had unknowingly parked right next to each other.

As soon as I get in my car and start heading down the road, I turn on the radio, and it's Fooling Yourself.  Sometimes I think the universe is mocking me.

Coincidentally I just bought that album.

Think I'm coming down with something and feel generally trod on.

Weekend plans collapsed after two friends bailed out for completely understandable reasons.

My prospective date plan is beginning to show dire signs of busting :(

PD: Almost definitedly bust, unless some last-hour thing takes place.

Great... Wake up with general apathy for the world.

Sure by... Two it's gone, but me, being the hypochondriac I am, think I'm depressed(if I'm using the definition of the word too broadly sorry)

One week before the only exam I have this year, one week before I get to go home, have proper internet and try again to fix up my god damned tablet so I can finally paint again. And I just can't seem to get myself to move and act upon any of that stuff. Just drifting around from morning 'till the evening. Don't sleep that well, since for some reason I can't fall asleep properly which further makes me unfocused.

A personal thing I tried last week, having a loose schedule (more of a daily To-do list) fell apart after roughly three days, simply because after three day I realised I didn't give a shit about that or fixing anything wrong with me, because hey, who the fuck would notice besides me. Hopefully getting drunk at my cousins wedding next week will remedy some of my thinking worries, since that seems to be the root of most of my problems.

Tired of people acting like they understand me without actually trying to understand me. Either take the time to get where I'm coming from or don't make stupid off base assumptions.

The false conclusions they reach while initially amusing are quickly growing on my nerves and making me want to separate myself from all these people. Actually, I think that's exactly what I'll do. My five year ritual of cutting off all ties and finding a new group of people.

*Sigh* I've always sort of joking told people that making friends isn't hard. Keeping them is what's hard. I wasn't really joking though. :-\

Haha, no. That's what gets me. People who only know me on a shallow level making these broad generalizations about my life and how I should live it.

People here never do that and that's why I love you all, haha.

Laughs are good. :D

Sometimes making a person laugh is better than trying to understand. Which considering the vagueness of my posts would be sort of hard for anyone to do anyway.

Edit: I guess what I neglected to say is that their assumptions sort of oversimplify things to an extreme degree that almost twist my actions and ideals in a negative way. That might be why it annoys me.

It's like telling someone you don't talk to your father. Maybe that father treated you really poorly and as a result you don't like talking to him.
People see the first part *that you don't talk to him* and say "hey you should really try and rekindle that relationship." You calmly reply "no, that's not really something I'm interested in doing." To which they assume your just a jerk who's too stuck up or self centered to try and rekindle a relationship.

I'm not saying that's a true example, it's just sort of the thing that's going on. People see point "A" and jump to an inconsiderate point "C" without examining my "B".

Err I'm not sure if I'm making sense anymore.

Edit 2:
I guess the sad part is that I do want someone to understand and I do want someone to try to understand. I don't even mind if they try to and fail at understanding. What's getting me is them acting like they understand and being wrong while not really trying to understand.

Had to get somewhere quickly, and preferably neckbeard free. I decided to shave quickly and dry,

Never. Again. My face feels like I've plunged it into hell.

Dry shaving isn't so bad, you just need to do it with the grain. A fresh razor also helps.
