...It's funny, I'm thinking now that a lot of the modern anti-AI arguments stem from the same place as the anti-women arguments of ye olden days.
People in olden times thought that if we gave women sentience they would rise up and enslave us all?

People think that AI are strange, magical creatures for bleeding copiously each month without signs of injury or ill health?

Didn't you know? That's what modern feminism is all about!

Religious tracts make me cry. And then laugh a little bit, before I remember how serious they are being.

You know, I wish that playing D&D entitled me to enter a secret cabal of Real Life Warlocks and shit. That would be great. I could grow this gigantic mess of a beard, and do All Of The Dark Magicks, man. All of them.

Internet, from now on you will refer to me as Grinfeldon Podogyndle the Canny, Amateur Warlock.

Well, maybe if we allow metaphorical bleeding? A memory leak or something.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

... how many months do you have to do that to get your strange magical creature card, anyway? I've known a few males that have managed consecutive months of that.

Who linked that analysis of Chick tracts? I can't stop reading them.
I've been in the same spot for several hours and can't move.

Man, the things I could do even if I could only just cast fairly low level D&D spells. I mean the possibilities don't get to be really good until you're up to at least spell level 5, but there's still a lot of good stuff to be done with lower level ones.

Prestidigitation. Magic Missile. Chromatic Orb from 2ed. Grease. Sleep. Mage Hand. True Strike with a sniper rifle. Hypnotism. Disguise Self. Mirror Image. ANY KIND OF TRANSMUTATION FROM 2nd LEVEL.

Mostly, Prestidigitation. Good god, the things I could do with JUST that...
Uhhhh wash your laundry?

My grandfather was a Missouri Synod Lutheran minister and kept tracts around the house explaining why women are not meant to make decisions for themselves.
My face cannot make up its mind on what expression to make at that.

This.

Going to be home, mostly alone for a whole week.

..Oh yes, it's going to be a nice week in this home. This large home with a history of scary stories and ghosts..

...And the idea that my parents have seen an elderly 'couple' in the house at times. Which I didn't see.

...Must stop being scared :<

I feel like I am relevant once more:

Well!! Mostly people get terrified by looking at horror films and serials. I don't get scared by it. In fact I get scared of darkness and cutting off light. Dark night always make me feel horrified. Is there any way to get rid of it . Please suggest.

Look at a dark corner / dark place / whatever and say: 'This is for you'
Then masturbate furiously.
