Yeah, I knew they were going to complain.  I was just surprised by some of the sources of the complaints.  A lot of them said nice things about the quality of my character, though--they didn't say I was a nice person, they said I was a good person, which I appreciated very much.

And frankly, I don't care that much about the imperfections of ME3.  They're making a fourth game, I trust the company, and I just really want to be my good old dorky Shepard for a while longer, saving the galaxy.  I'm fine with a move towards FPS's (I know the market's saturated, but I'm not), and I'm kind of okay with the single-ending thing.  For me, that was the icing on the cake more than anything else... I think I'll enjoy it.  I frankly just need the mental space it will provide.

[hugs all around]

My mom is a good mom, but she apparently decided that this was her day to fly off the handle and finally, after I'd ended up running to lock myself in the bathroom and sob since, well, I'd tried to stop crying but it wasn't in the cards, she apologized a lot and said she shouldn't have said anything at all to anyone, and then we did a crossword and she offered to play a board game with me.  So that's not that bad.

* Descan makes his usual comment about a Vector hug-pile.

* Descan also contemplates punching Vecmom? Or at least a stern talking to.

Edit: ...

* Descan sternly talks to Vecmom.

* Descan gives Vector a small-words thesaurus.

Well, considering Bioware apparently is now aging like milk, I wouldn't expect too much.

But if they do good on it they may just put out a good Dragon Age 3.
I want that franchise to continue so bad

We must devise a Mass Effect flavored cheese! Taste the galaxy!

I don't know man, don't get your hopes up. It will be VERY difficult for Bioware to recover from so many poorly written games in a such a short time span. Dragon Age 2, Mass Effect 3, and TOR were pretty big failures compared to the previous games and judging from the fact that they're pretty much keeping the same writers and developers in the company from these three games, I HIGHLY doubt Mass Effect 4 and Dragon Age 3 will turn out well.

My dad refuses to believe that I watch Xena: Warrior Princess for anything other than her skimpy clothing. Come on, the show is good because it's corny!
wait, that show's still on?
