To clarify: "OH NO I CAN'T SEE MY RIBS, BETTER LOSE WEIGHT!" wut.
Well I don't expect people to be able to see my ribs, that is what going to the gym is for, but I have been going for what, eight days or something? 4kg in that time can not be healthy.

i still got ribs even at 100kg, i got too much of a boney structure, half my arms are pure sinew (i did lots of heavy deadlifts to around 150lbs).
Remember, you're a hugeass, I'm a dorf.
i don't think 4 inches is that much of a difference :P

Not that I'm going to split into multiple Vectors when I decide to reproduce, though such a linear decomposition might have its merits.

There, there. We all want pet Vectors...

@Telle: Actually, because of reasons involving squares and inverses and cubes, 4 inches IS a lot. :3 IIRC.

... Interesting. Apparently pET Vector is something about DNA cloning. Pretty appropriate.

Oh yea, speaking of weight, sad thread... Up to 59kg.
I mean I have been going to the gym, but there is no way I put on four kilograms of muscle that quickly.
Wait, 59kg is too much? What are you, under 1.50m tall?

... not sure what the rest of it is.

Take this with a pinch of salt, as its a Physicist commenting on Biology, but I think it has something to do with protiens.

That, is probably right.

Very very rusty, but stuff like that is typically a gene map of, say, a bacterium, where each of the markers indicate a gene.  And then, the vector 'goes in' at a certain point to modify the DNA (inserts moar).  It 'knows' where to go in based on lots of dangling peptides, I think (something like a zipper open with a dangling end on each side to slot to... if each zipper had a specific style and only slotted to its antizipper, due to AT GC pairing.

Its actually kinda more complicated, but meh.
