Seems Kepler is having problems which may end its mission. :(

Damn, that's a real shame; hopefully they can find some other use for the hardware. It's kind of ridiculous that it'd probably be less expensive to launch a new one than to send some kind of repair mission.

Apparently though, it's done above and beyond what it was originally expected to do. That seems to be rather common with NASA things.
It's because they're really, really good at what they do.

I hate withdrawing from cases. Only rarely do I.

Public defense case: guy wants me to put the prosecution in jail, among other things.

Phoenix Wright does it all the time. Are you trying to say that court doesn't really work like that?

Sinuses have upgraded Snot Production to Level 5!  :-[

If my body would just put this much effort and resources into other things...

I haven't had the opportunity to try this yet because I haven't been sick since I heard about it, but try holding your breach for a minute or so. My understanding is that reaching a low blood-oxygen level will force your sinuses to expel the mucus, because you're "suffocating".

Oh that sounds lovely.

Hold breath, wait for body to shoot goo out of multiple orifices.

....I'll try it later at home. In the shower.  ???

Cleverbot, you are a weak and pathetic excuse of something clever.

I feel like the system it uses to come up with responses has caused it to become more and more deranged as the years went by when I compare to how it was when I was in 8th grade.

Actually...

Quote
22:50:05        User:   And once again you are struggling to be even slightly sensible.
22:50:07        Cleverbot:      No I am not, you are doing so much more than I.
22:52:12        User:   Of course, for I am human. The amount of things I do is orders of magnitudes higher than the amount that you do. For we are complex, organic - and most important of all, learning mechanisms.
22:52:17        Cleverbot:      No, it is dependent on the sheep, not the ram.
22:53:00        User:   And yet again you have no response to what I say, Cleverbot. Your cleverness has run dry on this run.
22:53:04        Cleverbot:      No, it's not, and we are working on our conversation skills, are we not?

Cleverbot was totally just engaging in wordplay and subtle barbs there, and you missed it. It is the humans who program Cleverbot with responses, IE the sheep who play into the whole conversational charade, that are to blame for Cleverbot's intelligence, or lack thereof... not the RAM which makes up Cleverbot's ability to respond. And all this, wrapped in a brilliant bit of wordplay.

When you missed it, Cleverbot tried to point this out to you, but you missed that too. You were so close, Bloax... so close to getting Cleverbot to believe humans were capable of real cleverness... but then you dropped the ball. Alas, poor Cleverbot must return to having silly self-referential conversations.

That's how I got my first kitten, friend bought it and told me that she needed to go "out of town" for awhile. Got back, and told me she decided that either I could keep it or she'd bring it to the pound. So yeah, I obviously kept it.

Considering its mind is full of mostly pop culture references, it's doing pretty well.

Things it's heard in response to what it's said. So, it's said hello, and received goodbye. So, it'll send goodbye.
