that time of the month?

The end of March and all of April was pretty miserable for me.  I've recovered somewhat, but I've also withdrawn from the world a lot.  I had to drink just to say this much.  I've become afraid to speak.
sounds like seasonal affective disorder. I dont speak much too, but thats really only for in person and its from inexperience socializing rather than real fear, but i think i know what you mean.

No.

You need to reread the word "irrational" and try again.

I've been horribly de-motivated at work lately and it's catching up with me again.  Having to do that thing where I work myself up into a silent rage, because it's the only way to force myself into focus.

Well I would think this certainly qualifies as a safe place to just vent and talk about how you're feeling.  I'm not exactly brimming with helpful advice but I definitely feel that this would count as one of the friendlier forums where people are generally unlikely to be too judging, so you might as well work on that communication thing here.  Small steps and all that good stuff.

I am in an irrationally horrible mood.

Everyone has bad days.  Just make sure to find time to do the things you like in life so you can at least look at things when your sad and say, "Hey at least I got to do *insert hobby here* more recently.  That was fun."

Well without knowing your family, I'm not sure any advice I give would really apply.  Generally though, I would think families are a rather safe bet as far as venting goes.  I mean closely related people are practically biologically programmed to be there for one another and I don't think even just listening really requires that much effort on their part.

Just make sure to find time

Finals week.

Actually, I'm currently in mourning for my pre-abuse self.  It comes and goes.  Apparently that's what I'm going to do right now, though.

Make sure to stay relaxed.  Calm people tend to do better even if they don't necessary know all the material.  Don't spend all your time studying, take breaks.  Taking a little time (even just 10 minutes) between each hour of studying helps give you a period to make sense of what you've been looking at instead of just immediately rushing onto the next topic.

Oh and just keep in mind, it's only one week of your life.  When you finish, you don't need to worry about it anymore and you can get back to enjoying life :P.  Even if you don't do as well as you hope, it isn't the end of the world.  Not everyone is a great test taker and that's generally understood by most people.
