I think I need help writing one of those "About yourself" blurbs that any dating site asks of you. I can't help but feel that's really sad.

It appears he broke up with me....

I thought you were supposed to do that on a friday to let the girl be sad without messing with her week, but Sunday night by phone also works.

I don't think there's any real etiquette, but dropping someone by phone is scummy... That sucks for you.

Yuck.  I ate a sandwich with like 1/8" of cream cheese smeared on it and now I feel pretty sick.  Just about the only thing I've eaten today, too... don't feel at all hungry.

My family mostly doesn't consume dairy or eggs--it's not that we're vegan, it's just that that's not really what we want to eat.  Just a week until I never have to eat the cheese-laden crap in this dining hall again.  Just a week until I can start feeling healthy again.

I want to go home.

I don't really like Milk or Eggs on its own, but I pretty much survive off various combinations of eggs, milk/cheese, grains/flour, beans, and vegetables. I come from Herding cultures, and I'm pretty well-adapted to cheese and dairy (good hard cheeses are something I could eat on their own, from time to time) but large volumes of cream cheese sound pretty blegh. It might make a nice accent when paired with other stuff, or used to add richness to something (a brownie batter or something) but I don't know about straight cream cheese.

Tonight's fried rice sorta blew. I ran out of soy and hoisin, and had to supplement it with a crummy soy-based teriyaki dipping sauce. And I didn't fry the egg in oil, but just let it cook in the residual starch-water from the rice. It turned out to be pretty ass, as food is concerned, but I'm eating it anyway. Waste not, want not, and all that.

Cheese is the godfood.

Just last night I was eating cubes of cheese with white wine. Do we mean to imply that there are people who couldn't just bite into a wedge of cheese without ill repercussions?

It's not that I hate cream cheese (I did order it, after all).  It's that it was just too much.

Pity the poor, poor lactose intolerant people out there.

Truly a horrific affliction.
Have you tried leeching? I hear it is also good for the skin.

If I ever became lactose-intolerant and couldn't control it with medication, I might have to kill myself. Seriously. I have tasted a wide variety of cheeses, and there are hundreds if not thousands more out there to sample. I can't imagine a dairy-free existence.
